Where's Steve?

We lucked out with the weather.  Most of the walk was rain-free.
It was great catching up on theater talk .

The leaning dog

I have a soft spot for dogs that lean.  This one was outside the Starbuck's on 23rd Avenue.  I asked someone who works at a dog hotel if Burmese Mountain dogs are known for leaning (we have an n of 2) and she laughed and said they seem to, as well as some other large dogs. I find it incredibly charming.

Team Mo Jo

The first time I've walked for the cure instead of slept in for the cure.  A small but mighty team.

Art in the Pearl

Watching the Indian dancing was one of the highlight's of this year's Art in the Pearl.

No phone, no book

Ian is without phone or book as Steve (Molly's boyfriend)  briefly looks at guitars.

A nice walk along Lithia Creek between plays

Same time each year

Just back from our annual trip to Ashland.  Fishing for Ian and Lynn, and plays for Josh and me.  Charles and Chrissy live in Ashland, so they join us for dinner too.  This year it was a treat to run into Laurie and Steve at one of the plays.

Badger

Learned that badgers are tenacious, and very good diggers.

Animatron?

Chipmunks and ground squirrels are all over the High Desert Museum.  One of the guests asked an employee if they were animatrons.  It would be a mighty big battery bill....

Locked Horns

The phrase "locked horns" didn't mean much to me till I saw this graphic display of what can happen.

Baby Porcupine

Learned quite a bit about porcupines at the High Desert Museum in Bend.  We share an affinity for salt.
